In 1955, His Majesty became a Cub #Scout with the name Mowgli and joined the #Scouts three years later. Among his first official duties as Crown Prince was to participate in a Scout camp in Sweden.
His Majesty is the Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation, Principal Honorary Member of the Swedish Guide and Scout Association and Honorary Member of the Swedish Guide and Scout Council.
